Most software companies don’t run their business on the thing they sell. I do — and starting today, I’m going to document it in public.
Here’s the setup: I’m building 22nd Century Management and the Agent Suite with a team that doesn’t draw a salary. Every role a growing company would normally hire for, I’ve staffed with one of the six AI employees on this site instead. The goal is seven figures in revenue. The team is me and my agents.
Why do this in public?
Because it’s the most honest form of proof I can offer. This site can tell you that AI employees answer calls and run marketing — but claims are cheap, and you’ve heard versions of them from every AI product on the internet.
What’s harder to fake is a founder betting his own business on it. If these agents can carry a company from zero to seven figures, you’ll see exactly how. And when something doesn’t work — an agent that needed reconfiguring, a workflow I had to rethink, a place where a human was simply better — you’ll read about that too. A journey log where nothing ever goes wrong isn’t a journey log; it’s an ad.
The team on the payroll that isn’t one
Here’s who does what in my business today:
- Suzy Q answers my business line. Not a demo instance — the actual published number, (855) 553-0229. Call it right now and you’ll be talking to her.
- Sales Prep hands me a briefing before every sales conversation, so I stop discovering basic facts about a prospect ten minutes into the call.
- Bob makes sure the commitments I make on calls end up in the CRM instead of evaporating.
- Jeane runs my calendar and inbox.
- The Agency does the marketing — the function that, when I wore every hat myself, was always the first thing to slip.
- The Board of Advisors is who I pressure-test decisions with before I commit to them.
What I’ll share
Milestones and setbacks as they happen. How each agent is actually configured and used, not the idealized version. Honest numbers where I can share them. And the lessons that only show up when you depend on something every day instead of demoing it.
The video series documenting the climb is live — watch Episode 1: Zero, with new episodes every Wednesday and Friday, announced on the journey page and this blog first.
Follow along
The series lives at agent-suite.net/journey, and every update will publish here on the blog. If you’d rather skip ahead and put the same team to work in your own business, book a guided demo — or just call the line and meet my receptionist.
